Your data and connection

This bridge is operated by Louis. During connection it receives your instance URL and a dedicated Vikunja token. That token is encrypted in server storage. OAuth credentials are stored as hashes, except registered client secrets which are encrypted.

When you use a tool, the bridge sends that request to your instance and returns its result to ChatGPT. Task contents are processed in memory and are not stored in a conversation archive by this service. ChatGPT’s own data settings apply to information returned there.

Connections expire after 30 days unless replaced. Disconnecting deletes the active stored upstream credential and invalidates this connection’s access. You can also revoke the original token in Vikunja Settings → MCP. Historical server snapshots may retain encrypted records until those snapshots are removed.
